This Thursday is the release date of the Sam Flores Adidas Originals sneaker for Upper Playground. This is the fourth and final part of the series, which also included artists Herbert Baglione, David Choe, and Aesop Rock.

Sam Flores has collaborated with Upper Playground on various projects in the past and he’s currently working on two vinyl figures for their 10th anniversary.

With just 500 pairs of these sneakers available worldwide, you will need to head to an Upper Playground store or visit upperplayground.com to cop a pair. The sneakers, which are available in sizes 4 to 13 1/2 , will go on sale at 8:00 PT on Thursday, August 7, 2008. Via Upper Playground.

Alife has a growing catalog of shoes for fall and these Alife Shell Toe kicks are a nice example. These shoes should be popular among those who want to wear sharp yet casual sneakers.

In the two illustrated colorways, you see a dark version and a light version. The first shoe is an all-black colorway. The only non-black colors visible on the shoes are located on the logos and the shoelace eyelets. The other shoe is a grey colorway, which is accented in white. We have seen some info about these shoes before, but now High Snobiety has some clear pictures of the Nike Air Max 1 “Olympic Perforated Metal Pack.” This pack of two metallic perforated Air Max 1’s.

These sneakers are perforated allover and features a white sole and laces. They are releasing next Friday, August 8th, to kick off the Beijing Olympics. Many other very limited shoes from Nike will be released on Friday as well. These kicks come in both silver and gold. Personally I prefer the silver because it’s a little more subtle. Everybody is taking advantage of the Beijing Olympics by producing Chinese inspired shoes. These Clark Wallabee “Chinese Dragon Print” shoes feature a dark blue upper created from a fabric that looks like Chinese silk lightly embossed with a Chinese dragon print.

It’s definitely an interesting take on the classic Wallabee design. You can get these shoes from Atmos beginning in August. The orange trim is nice contrast to the dark shoe. Via High Snobiety.

Jun Watanabe got together with Topper on this series of canvas sneakers. The pack of two models consists of a high top canvas sneakers and a simple slip-on.

Each of these shoes feature custom designs stenciled onto the canvas. The white high top features the logos on the side panels, while the slip on features it on the front of the shoe. The slip-on comes in black, white and a bright purple, each with contrasting trim.

This Stan Smith shoe is the third sneaker in the four-part series, which also includes designs from artists Herbert Baglione, David Choe, and Sam Flores.

Aesop Rock is an American hip-hop artist from New York that is known for his storytelling style of rap. Only 500 pairs of these shoes are available worldwide in sizes 4 to 13 1/2. So if you can cop a pair, do it if you can.

Here’s another unique model from the Vans Vault collection. The Vans Skate Hi LX “Cargo Pocket” comes in two colorways - khaki and camouflage.

Each of these shoes features a cargo pocket on the side panel with a button flap closure. I’m not sure anyone would actually carry anything in the pocket, but the detail is nice. You can get these shoes for $80 USD at select local Vans retailers as well as Standard.

We have seen a lot of colorways of the Nike Hyperdunk roll out for NBA, College and Olympic players and teams. However, here is first one dedicated to the high school players.

The “McDonald’s All American” colorway features a black patent upper with red, yellow and blue accents. The Swoosh, sole and some other trim is red, while yellow is used in the laces. A touch of blue is outlining the Swoosh.

There’s no release date for when these will hit the shelves. But we’ll be on the look out and keep you updated. Via Dime.
